Cardiac Ultrasound

We offer basic echocardiography services for evaluation of acquired cardiac diseases in dogs and cats.  We have full 2D, M Mode, Colour, Pulsed Wave as well as tissue  velocity doppler imaging capability on our ultrasound machine and a wide band phased array cardiac transducer.

Studies for Valve Dysplasia ( acquired and congenital),  Hypertrophic & Dilated Cardiomyopathies, Pulmonary Hypertension and chemotherapy pre and post-treatment measurements can all be performed. We would, however, like to note the expertise of specialist cardiologists and at this time feel (in your patient's and clients best interests) that congenital cardiac investigations are best performed by them.
